Jenny has pioneered initiatives that break from conventional innovation models and enable global scale. She excels in bringing together diverse groups from local innovators to international organizations to collaborate on "messy" problems and big opportunities.

Dan is a specialist in disruption. Throughout his 40 year career, he has been a choreographer of ambitious messy change, reimagining complex systems in business, government, international aid, and society as a whole. His work spans multiple sectors and engages leaders in both sprawling global firms and fast moving startups. He is a thought leader that has helped pioneer practical approaches to system innovation, drawing on insights from a wide variety of past roles such as the global innovation lead at the international consultancy ThoughtWorks, and the Chair of the Advisory Board for the UK based Humanitarian Innovation Fund.

Education viewed as a system

Education is viewed as a system but the real issue is how to shift the system to gain positive long term outcomes. People always do not have access to this system unlike most people in higher education institutions. People who might be stuck inside due to their situations and cannot gain access to greater education. Learning in different ways or even having different kinds of opportunities the people could look at due to the constant change in work. Many types of innovations says how to make something better or how to get more students. The people who are going to offer things to the needs and to the opportunity of the people which does not necessary mean just getting good grades or a good job. There are all kinds of outcomes that can be achieved.

Creating Unique Needs

Now a days, most institutions follow the traditional model so you will not see many place that need people to fill certain positions. Even if someone does fit the role perfectly, the institution can’t see beyond the formal education. When you add a level of change that’s going on in the world, the need to take new context, new skills and bring them so you can apply them to the new jobs on an ongoing basis. That is a real idea for a whole bunch of unique needs. The more creative you are, the more you will be able to deal with unique needs.

What are the Outcomes of Educational Programs and How can You Support Different Kinds of Thinkers

This can vary from person to person but ultimately, the goal is to shape and build and make the world a better place. It can vary from building new kinds of technology to supporting refugees. Even being an incredible creative thinker and being able to transform organizations. Instead of thinking about how to optimize or improve the performance of existing systems but you should begin to imagine how to build new systems tailored around particular challenges.
