Episode 65: nSquared Panel Discussion – Reinventing Learning and Student Success

Our traditional model of learning in the classroom with a sage-on-stage paradigm has been tested since the beginning of the pandemic. Campuses, students, and faculty have adapted to remote technologies, blended learning, flipped classrooms, and online learning at rates no one ever thought possible. As students return back to campuses, we need to rethink our classrooms to take advantage of the paradigm shifts and build better learning environments for our students.

Students now expect a more mature campus technology experience. Students expect an environment and applications that blend the power of on-demand, personalized, and self-paced learning environments with the power of immersive, facilitated, and collaborative classroom experiences. Closing this gap seems almost impossible, but this has been achieved in leading institutions through the power of innovation and integration at campuses worldwide by thoughtful leaders.

Panel Discussion: Reinventing Learning and Student Success

63% of students unable to pay for classes/educational expenses due to pandemic-related changes to income canceled all classes.

Over 1,100 colleges and universities in all 50 states canceled in-person classes during the pandemic.

Spring 2021 undergraduate enrollment is down 5.9% compared to Spring 2020.

How did our understanding of student success, student learning, and student engagement change over the course of the pandemic?

What are some of the innovations your organization is spearheading or planning to prepare institutions for the next crisis or disruption?

On this panel discussion, Kiran Kodithala discusses the importance of student success and how that has change in the recent years and how the innovations that are being created will help bring more student success with the following panelist
